After all the years of serving as our Director of Public Safety Fred Harran becomes the Sheriff for Bucks County. As business owners you never forget the people who help you when things are down. First responders are the brave people who come to help you when things are not right. The Police, Fire and Rescue Squad of Bensalem make up the three departments Fred ran for many years. Bensalem is the 9th largest Police Department in Pennsylvania and happens to be an award winning one at that.

With Fred as Director of Public Safety we always had meetings hosted by the Bensalem Police once a year and the Fire Department would do one every other year and the year between the Rescue Squad would do one. We have in Bensalem a Mayor who hates people who break the law and as a former farmer has always been mindful to protect his people. This combination of Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and Fred Harran for all the years gave us the safe place to own and run a business.

Times change and we understand this as people move along in life. Fred is now in charge of Bucks County as the Sheriff and works in Doylestown. He is recently married and moved out of our lovely community of Bensalem. But he still comes to our meetings as he is still a member of our organization and we honored him at this meeting at the Bensalem Country Club.
